How do I create a capsule in the app?

We recommend creating "capsules" within the Cladwell Personal Styling app, so you can receive the best outfit recommendations.

Start your own capsule:

• Tap on the icon at the top of the screen on the get dressed page that says "closet"
• From there, you can "START A NEW CAPSULE" or "BROWSE TEMPLATES (only in iOS, Android coming soon)"

• If you choose "START A NEW CAPSULE" we recommend naming it for a specific season (Summer) or occasion (Work or Date Night)

• Once you create a capsule, you can add items to it.

• When you're using the app, you can select a capsule and see outfit recommendations using only the items you added to that capsule.

Sometimes it’s easier to look at what you do or don’t want than start with a blank slate. Especially if you’re a visual person like myself. 

That’s why we put together Cladwell’s Signature Capsules. Not so you blindly follow it or buy every single item we recommend. Rather to help you unearth your own personal style perspective. 

Each season we will release new signature capsules made up of well-made essentials, modern staples, and personal accents. My hope is that by showing you our own signature capsule we can give you a foundation to build yours. 

• If you choose "Browse Templates" we recommend editing it and making it your own.

• Remove what you don’t love. Add some favorites you already own.

• Editing — even if only for a season can make the biggest difference in your signature style coming through.
